Planning philosophy

"Max Dudlers Bauten erklären sich nicht, sie erschließen sich über ihre spezifische architektonische Sprache. Das Selbstverständliche muss nicht ausgesprochen werden. Umso mehr muss es erarbeitet werden: Vereinfachung – doch nichts ist schwieriger als das Einfache, im Weglassen liegt die größte Arbeit. Wer weglassen will, muss das Ganze kennen; das Ganze ist das Notwendige. Ziel ist es dabei immer, Bauten von Dauer und Schönheit hervorzubringen."
